Wiz Khalifa's "Blacc Hollywood" is slated to sell less than 100,000 copies its first week.
Wiz Khalifa’s
Blacc Hollywood album is expected to sell between 70,000 and 80,000 copies its first week in stores, according to
HitsDailyDouble.
If so, the album from the Pittsburgh rapper is expected to compete for the #1 album in the country distinction with the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix, Vol.1, which was the #1 album in the country this week with 92,585 units sold, which includes sales for the week ending August 18.
This week’s best-selling rap album was Iggy Azalea’s New Classic, which sold 13,135 units.
Wiz Khalifa’s best-selling album is 2011’s Rolling Papers. It has been certified gold by the RIAA.
Earlier this month, Wiz Khalifa said that Blacc Hollywood would solidify his place in the music industry.
"This is just gonna further prove the consistency and it's
just another addition to my catalog, my career, what I do to the game
and what I do to these niggas," Wiz Khalifa said at the time.
