Iggy Azalea met up with fellow booty queen Jennifer Lopez at the Versace store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills for the latest episode of MTV’s “House of Style.” The store was set up as a J.Lo Versace Hall of Fame featuring some of her most iconic fashion moments throughout the years. After walking through her favorite outfits, J.Lo sat down with the “Fancy” rapper to discuss her style.
When asked about her most iconic outfit, J.Lo picked her green Grammy Versace dress, while Iggy gushed over J.Lo’s crop tops.
She also revealed that Iggy will be featured on her new single “Booty.” “I think we have high-fashion booty in common,” said Iggy.

Both J. Cole and Rihanna working on new albums, according to Lenny Santiago.

With his links to both Jay Z and Dame Dash, Def Jam A&R Lenny Santiago was recently asked about the possibility of the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founders working together again.
In response to the question, Santiago revealed that it “is what it is” in regards to the former business partners. He went on to explain that although both Jay and Dame appeared cordial at a party for their mutual friend Chaka last year, it’s unclear “what could come out of” their relationship.

UPDATE: Eminem has released the cover art for his "Guts Over Fear" song with Sia is played in the trailer for the forthcoming film "The Equalizer."

Eminem’s “Guts Over Fear” song is featured in the trailer for the forthcoming Denzel Washington film The Equalizer, which is slated to arrive in theaters September 26. 

“Guts Over Fear" features the Detroit artist singing and rapping. 

"A former black ops commando who faked his death for a quiet life in Boston comes out of his retirement to rescue a young girl and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters,” is how The Equalizer is described on IMDb.

When Wiz Khalifa assesses the history of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), the rapper says Eminem is responsible for his favorite moment.
"When Eminem came out and did 'The Real Slim Shady' and he had all the Eminems dressed like him," Wiz Khalifa says to MTV when discussing his favorite VMA moment.
Khalifa says this was a particularly significant performance. 
"That was a real moment in his career," he says, "And seeing somebody turn into a superstar, it was like, 'Wow. That's it.'"

French Montana says Puff Daddy introduced him to Khloe Kardashian, talks "Mac & Cheese 4."

In addition to speaking on his upcoming album, Mac & Cheese 4, during an interview on Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood, French Montana also addressed the downside of being in the spotlight. According to the Bronx rapper, his divorce and the inability to see his five-year-old son when he wants to are the negative aspects of his celebrity.
“The bad thing about it? Just going through my divorce,” French Montana said. “Things like that. Going through things like why I can’t see my son when I want to. Things like that. That’s the bad thing. Cause when you make it to a certain level it’s like everything ain’t gon’ be everything you want. You gotta go through the bullshit.”

Since our blog section went the way of two-way pagers and physical mixtapes, Twitter, Instagram and Ustream have further accelerated the pace of current events in Hip Hop. Rappers beef with each other 140 characters at a time, entire mixtapes (and their associated artwork) can be released via Instagram, and sometimes these events require a rapid reaction.

Remy Ma says some of her lyrics will focus on her time in prison, though she'd rather not dwell on the past.

Remy Ma has announced her upcoming mixtape, I'm Around.
The tape is set to include some lyrics about her recent stint in prison, Remy Ma says.
"It's kind of impossible, after being in prison for six and a half years and being home for 19 days, to not talk about what I'm going through right now," Remy says in an interview with MTV. "It's very hard not to bring up what I went through. In the future, I don't want to dwell on the past. I don't want to dwell on the past now, but that was a large part of my life so it has affected me in a lot of ways. It will show in my music."
Remy, who was released from prison last month, says she also plans on working on her new album, which is slated to follow the tape.

NEWS: Fabolous Announces "Young O.G." Project

Fabolous says the project is in its early stages.

Fabolous has announced his upcoming project, Young O.G. 
"This is kind of very early," he says in an interview with Complex's Quickstrike when host DJ Clark Kent reveals the project title. "I haven't even told anybody about that yet."
Fabolous released a video for "Young O.G." in March 2014.
The song was a cut off the rapper's 2013 effort, Soul Tape 3, which earned a 4 out of 5 X rating on HipHopDX.
During the Complex interview, Kent also urges brands to connect with Fabolous to partner with him on the new album.

Reginae Carter is stuntin’ like her daddy. After grabbing the mic at the BET Awards, the spunky 15-year-old daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright stopped by BET’s “106 & Park” on Thursday to premiere her video for “Mind Goin’ Crazy.”
The author, singer, rapper, and businesswoman spoke about getting her driver’s permit and whether her dad is going to buy them twin Ferraris. But Reginae said she doesn’t want a Ferrari for her first car (She prefers a Range Rover Sport or a Jeep).
She will celebrate her 16th birthday in November, and is pulling out all the stops. “Reginae loves to go big,” she said. “I want to have the best sweet 16 ever. My sweet 16 is gonna be dope.”
The mogul-in-the-making is also getting ready to embark on the “Young and Ready” tour and is the new spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Club

New Music: Tinashe f/ A$AP Rocky – ‘Pretend’

With her ScHoolboy Q-assisted hit “2 On” still burning up the airwaves, Tinashe teams with A$AP Rocky on the Detail-produced follow-up “Pretend.” The L.A. singer swallows her pride and gives her man another shot, while Rocky delivers a jiggy verse.
“When I’m looking for love, I pretend it’s you / A love that never ends,” she coos over a crashing snare.
“The song with Rocky is definitely kind of a contemporary-sounding song,” Tinashe told Rap-Up TV. “It doesn’t really sound like a lot of other songs on the radio, but it’s a midtempo feel and it’s kinda minimalistic in the track.”

NEWS: Chris Brown and Rihanna Come Together at Charity Basketball Game

Chris Brown and Rihanna reunited for a good cause. The former couple was just feet away from each other at CC Sabathia and Robinson Cano’s Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday night.
Team Sabathia took on Team Cano during the competitive match-up, which featured celebrity players including Ne-Yo, Fabolous, DJ Khaled, and DJ Clue.
But the real MVP was Breezy, who scored 18 points, while his ex RiRi sipped D’USSE courtside and watched with her girlfriends including Skylar Diggins, Melissa Forde, and Cara Delevingne.
Sabathia and Cano had some help coaching on the sidelines from NBA and MLB pros including Derek Jeter, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, and more.
The event was a huge success, raising over $1 million for Sabathia’s PitCCh In Foundation and Cano’s RC22 Foundation.

Nicki Minaj’s booty is breaking records. The rap queen’s “Anaconda” video racked up 19.6 million views in only 24 hours, setting a new VEVO record.
The previous 24-hour record was held by Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” which received 19.3 million views in September 2013.
The raunchy “Anaconda” video, which had over 37 million views in 36 hours, features Nicki’s bountiful booty and a cameo from Drake, who gets a lap dance from his YMCMB labelmate.
Produced by Polow Da Don and Da Internz, the Sir Mix-A-Lot-sampled song will appear on her upcoming album The Pinkprint, due this fall.

New Music: Chris Brown – ‘X’

With less than a month until its release, Chris Brown shares the Diplo-produced title track off his upcoming album X. Breezy, who recently got back together with his girlfriend Karrueche, sings about a woman who played with his heart (Rihanna?), but he’s not going back no more.

NEWS: Wiz Khalifa "Blacc Hollywood" Sales Projections

Wiz Khalifa's "Blacc Hollywood" is slated to sell less than 100,000 copies its first week.

Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood album is expected to sell between 70,000 and 80,000 copies its first week in stores, according to HitsDailyDouble.  

If so, the album from the Pittsburgh rapper is expected to compete for the #1 album in the country distinction with the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix, Vol.1, which was the #1 album in the country this week with 92,585 units sold, which includes sales for the week ending August 18.

This week’s best-selling rap album was Iggy Azalea’s New Classic, which sold 13,135 units.

Wiz Khalifa’s best-selling album is 2011’s Rolling Papers. It has been certified gold by the RIAA.

Earlier this month, Wiz Khalifa said that Blacc Hollywood would solidify his place in the music industry.

"This is just gonna further prove the consistency and it's just another addition to my catalog, my career, what I do to the game and what I do to these niggas," Wiz Khalifa said at the time.

Is AubRih back together? The rumor mill is heating up once again after Rihanna was spotted at Drake’s concert in Forest Hills, New York, on Tuesday night. With her BFF Melissa Forde by her side, RiRi held court in VIP alongside some of Lil Wayne’s family members.
When Drake performed “Trophies,” she was seen singing along and waving her hands in the air, and she didn’t seem to care who was watching.
According to TMZ, Drake and RiRi hit up 1OAK and The Attic following the show. The day before, they were also spotted leaving Griffin nightclub in New York.
