Mtandao wa Google umemtaja Davido kwamba ni staa namba moja kwa wanamuziki wa Nigeria aliyetafutwa zaidi mwaka 2014 kwenye mtandao.

New Music: Madonna f/ Nicki Minaj – ‘Bitch I’m Madonna’

Madonna made her surprise return to music on Friday night. At the stroke of midnight, the pop icon announced her 13th album Rebel Heart and dropped six tracks including “Unapologetic Bitch,” the Kanye West and Mike Dean-produced “Illuminati,” and “Bitch I’m Madonna,” on which she reunites with Nicki Minaj.
Over the spastic beat, the Material Girl shows who’s the boss, while Nicki unleashes a ferocious flow: “It’s that go hard or go home zone / Bitch, I’m Madonna, these hoes know.”
The two previously collaborated on Madge’s MDNA single “Give Me All Your Luvin’” and performed together at the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show.
Madonna decided to release the six tracks now in response to the unfinished leaks earlier in the week.
“I was hoping to release my new single ‘Living for Love’ on Valentine’s Day with the rest of the album coming in the spring,” she said. “I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.”
You can pre-order Rebel Heart now on iTunes and receive the six tracks. Additional music will be released on February 9, with the full album on March 10 featuring production from Kanye, Diplo, and Billboard.

After a busy week of promo, Nicki Minaj caps it off with the debut of her very own film, The Pinkprint. The rap queen shows off her acting chops in the dramatic and emotional 16-minute docu-short, which was inspired by her third album and features tracks including “The Crying Game,” “All Things Go,” and “Grand Piano.”

NEWS: Nicki Minaj Dishes on Beyoncé, Ariana Grande’s ‘Inner Freak’ on ‘The Real’

In between visits to “The View” and “106 & Park,” Nicki Minaj sat down to dish with Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley on “The Real.” The Pinkprint rapper spoke about collaborating with Beyoncé on “Feeling Myself” and Ariana Grande on “Get On Your Knees.”
“Ari did her thing on ‘Beg for It,’” said Nicki. “It’s very, very sexy, hunny. Her inner freak been coming out lately.”
Tamar shared her love for the Dr. Luke and Cirkut-produced song, saying, “I’m a little ratchet rat right here and I love ['Get on Your Knees'].”
The ladies also praised her “SNL” spoofs of Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian. Nicki was confident about her Queen Bey impression, but wasn’t so sure about Kim. “I didn’t know if I could really nail Kim,” she said.
She also spoke about writing “Anaconda” for the curvy women. “I felt like back in the day, thicker women were celebrated in hip-hop and I kinda felt like there was a shift happening and I didn’t like the shift,” she said. “I felt like somebody needed to say something.”

Video: Wiz Khalifa – ‘You and Your Friends’ [Trailer]

Just in time for the weekend, Wiz Khalifa links with his homies Ty Dolla $ign and Snoop Dogg in the video for “You and Your Friends.” In the 40-second intro clip, the superstar stoner tends to his marijuana plants, while making a call to Ty, who tries to flirt his way out of a ticket with two female cops.
The song can be found on Wiz’ album Blacc Hollywood, which was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys.
The Taylor Gang leader has also shared his support for Bobby Shmurda, who is facing drug and weapons charges. “Don’t judge Bobby. He has enough people to do that,” tweeted Wiz. “Instead pray and send positive energy for him and his situation.”

Jasmine V proved she’s a ride-or-die chick on her Kendrick Lamar-assisted single “That’s Me Right There.” Now the L.A. singer strips things down in the sensual video for “I Love Your Crazy” off her EP That’s Me Right There. In the black-and-white clip, she makes love to her man and soaks in the bathtub while reflecting on their relationship.
“I think you’re worth it / Do you think I’m worth it?” she asks.

New Mixtape: French Montana – ‘Mac & Cheese 4: The Appetizer’

As he gears up for the release of his sophomore album Mac & Cheese next year, French Montana serves up The Appetizer. The Coke Boy teams with producer Harry Fraud for the seven-track EP, which he released for free via DatPiff.
Mac & Cheese, the follow-up to his 2013 debut Excuse My French, has spawned the DJ Mustard-produced single “Don’t Panic.” French has recorded over 80 songs and collaborated with Kanye West, Miguel (“Explicit”), and Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, who both appear on “Gucci Mane.”
Starting next February, French can be seen on his “Set It Off” tour with Jeremih, who appears on his new single “Bad Bitch.”

NEWS: Fabolous Drops Diss-Mas Record ‘I Don’t F*#k With Christmas’

Sorry Christmas, Fabolous doesn’t f*#k with you. The Brooklyn rapper teamed up with Funny or Die for his anti-holiday song “I Don’t F*#k With Christmas.” In the hilarious two-minute clip, a naughty Loso raps about buying a gift for his wife (and mistress) and beating up the “old fat man in a sleigh.”
“Let me catch Santa creepin’ through my mama’s house / Eatin’ cookies and milk and fartin’ on the coach / I’ma kick his ass and tell him give me all the goods,” he raps.
He also has some harsh words for Santa’s reindeer and elves. “Elves go f*#k yourselves, I don’t like ya’ll neither.”
Despite his diss, he will drop his new album The Young OG Project at digital retailers on Christmas Day.

New Music: Wale – ‘Miracle on U Street’

Fresh off his Festivus announcement, Wale pays homage to his hometown on “Miracle on U Street.” His MMG boss Rick Ross kicks things off before the D.C. spitter flows over the go-go track, which will not appear on his mixtape.
Festivus, the prequel to The Album About Nothing, drops December 23.

NEWS: Bobby Shmurda Pleads Not Guilty to Gun, Drug Charges

The “Hot Boy” is in hot water. Bobby Shmurda pled not guilty to charges that he was a member of a gun-toting street gang responsible for drug trafficking and several shootings.

According to the AP, the 20-year-old rapper, born Ackquille Pollard, was arraigned and held on $2 million bail in Manhattan on Thursday.
Police arrested Shmurda on conspiracy, reckless endangerment, and gun possession on Wednesday after he left a recording studio near Radio City Music Hall. Two handguns and a small amount of crack cocaine were found in the vehicle he was riding in.
He is among 15 defendants, who were charged with crimes including murder, attempted murder, assault, and drug dealing that left one man dead, injured a bystander, and caused chaos outside a Miami nightclub.
According to the indictment, members of the gang used code words, referring to shootings as “sun tans,” firearms as “tone,” “socks,” or “CDs,” and narcotics as “crills.”
Shmurda, who scored a top 10 hit with “Hot Ni**a,” has been arrested twice before for gun and drug possession. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 8 to 25 years in prison.

NEWS: Azealia Banks Defends Black Culture, Slams Iggy Azalea and T.I.

Azealia Banks has been very vocal on social media, but she has shied away from the media. The “212″ rapper had a lot to get off her chest when she finally sat down with Hot 97′s Ebro and Peter Rosenberg for an in-depth and emotional interview this week.

While she’s made headlines for her Twitter beefs with T.I. and Lil’ Kim, she feels misunderstood. “Everyone’s got it all wrong,” said the 23-year-old, who released her debut Broke With Expensive Taste last month. “I definitely have some really strong opinions and some really strong things to say about things, but I’m never trying to force my opinion.”
She called out white rappers for appropriating black culture, and being rewarded for it. “That Macklemore album wasn’t better than the Drake record,” she said. “That Iggy Azalea shit is not better than any fu**in’ black girl that’s rapping today.”
Iggy was nominated for four awards including Best Rap Album at the 57th Annual Grammys. “The Grammys are supposed to be awards for artistic excellence… Iggy Azalea’s not excellent,” she said. “I have a problem when you’re trying to say that it’s hip-hop and you’re trying to put it up against black culture.”

NEWS: Wale Announces ‘Festivus’ Mixtape

Move over Christmas. It’s all about Festivus. Before he drops his new album next year, Wale will release his mixtape Festivus.

Inspired by the secular holiday, which was parodied on “Seinfeld,” the project will be released on December 23. It was produced in collaboration with A-Trak.
He made the surprise announcement in a video trailer. In the minute-long clip, the D.C. rapper flips through the channels as he watches J. Cole and Nicki Minaj on TV.
“I need these ni**as to see my influence before I give them that blueprint,” he says.
He eventually lands on the famous 1997 “Festivus” episode of “Seinfeld” before A-Trak walks in and says, “Yo, I got something for you,” and the “Seinfeld” theme song kicks in.
Wale is also readying The Album About Nothing for release in 2015.

Album Cover: Tyga – ‘The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty’

All gold everything. A day after dropping his Fan of a Fan single with Chris Brown, Tyga has unveiled the artwork for his fourth LP The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
The cover, which is made of real gold, shows an Egyptian falcon with his wings spread. The design is the work of Kanye West and his creative team DONDA, who are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint cover.
Kanye serves as executive producer of The Gold Album. “He hears certain melodies that I wouldn’t hear or even think about adding,” Tyga told Nylon Guys. “He taught me that 808 drums and bass aren’t enough. You have to have that warmth.”
The follow-up to 2013′s Hotel California is due early next year via Tyga’s independent label Last Kings. It has spawned the singles “Make It Work” and the Kanye-produced “40 Mill.”

Va va voom. Not only is she dazzling critics and fans alike with her new album The Pinkprint, Nicki Minaj is also turning heads as the face of Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2015 advertising campaign.
The “Bed of Lies” rapper rocks vibrant floral and animal prints in hues of orange, blue, yellow, and green in the gorgeous photos, shot by Francesco Carrozzini.
“I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman,” said Cavalli. “In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong countertrend message. I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves, rather she make them as a strength.”
Nicki added, “I am so honored to be the face of the new #RobertoCavalliSS15 campaign.”

New Music: Maroon 5 f/ Big Boi – ‘Animals (Remix)’

Following J. Cole’s remix in September, Maroon 5 taps Big Boi for another remix to “Animals,” the second single off their album V. The OutKast rapper, who played over 40 festivals with André 3000 this year, comes alive on his cold-blooded verse, rapping about Stevie Wonder (“You will never see this”) and his leading lady (“A house is not a home when she’s gone”).
