NEW VIDEO: Kid Sister – ‘Higher’

Kid Sister returns with DUSK2DAWN: The Diary of Jane Jupiter, her first mixtape in three years. The Chicago rapper, best known for her Kanye West-assisted hit “Pro Nails,” introduces her funky new sound and alter ego Jane Jupiter in the video for the Dam-Funk-assisted “Higher,” produced by Chad Hugo of The Neptunes.
She rocks a blue superhero haircut and a mirror bodysuit in the futuristic clip, which was shot on a hot day in May 2013 in Palm Springs.
“We are in the desert, and I’m wearing this suit, and kind of in this dystopian existence, this alien thing. Not super dialed-in, but it looked really visually striking,” she told Stereogum.
She also gets candid about her struggle with depression on the 12-track mixtape.
