John Legend and Sam Smith touched down in London town to perform their duet “Lay Me Down” live for the first time during BBC One’s “Comic Relief – Face the Funny” telethon for Red Nose Day.The Jimmy Napes and Steve Fitzmaurice-produced ballad, which appears on Smith’s album In the Lonely hour, has been re-recorded as the official Red Nose Day 2015 single.
