New Music: Nicki Minaj f/ Meek Mill – ‘Big Daddy’

With less than a week until The Pinkprint release, Nicki Minaj drops off another new record. Her Minajesty teams with the recently released Meek Mill on “Big Daddy,” which she premiered on Cosmic Kev on Philly’s Power 99.
Over the Cardo production, Nicki snaps and even takes shots at the competition. “I might have to take him on tour just to fuck in Australia, Brisbane / Your time is tickin’ / You bitches will be around shorter than Vine vids.”
The Pinkprint drops December 15 featuring Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and more.

NEWS; Rihanna Previews New Song ‘Kiss It Better’

The countdown is on to Rihanna’s eighth album. The pop superstar has teased yet another song off the project on Instagram. The 15-second video shows her guitar player Nuno Bettencourt in the studio playing to a recording.
The song is reportedly titled “Kiss It Better,” and was written and produced by Rihanna, Jeff Bhasker, Glass John, and Natalia Kills.
Glass John, whose credits include Chris Brown and Brandy’s “Do Better” and Pusha T and Kelly Rowland’s “Let Me Love You,” confirmed the title, which first appeared in the HFA publishing database.
Just last month, Rihanna previewed a Mike WiLL Made-It-produced track on Instagram.
She has yet to announce a release date for R8, but she recently told fans that the project was coming “very soon.”

K. Michelle channels jazz legend Billie Holiday in the 1920s-themed video for “Something About the Night,” one of the cuts off her new album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?
After having a few too many drinks, the R&B songstress hits the stage and gives the audience a show they won’t forget. The guys can’t take their eyes off her, but backstage, K unravels and lashes out at her manager, who’s using her to get paid.
“I’m the star! They came to see me. This is my show!” declares a drunk K before falling to the floor.

Video: J. Cole – ‘Apparently’

Apparently
Fresh off the release of 2014 Forest Hills Drive, J. Cole drops a visual for the first release “Apparently,” which follows last week’s “Intro” clip. The Fayetteville MC stands in front of a projection screen, while reflecting on his childhood and his homecoming.
“This is my canvas, I’ma paint it how I want it,” raps Cole.
The album, which can be streamed here, is expected to sell 240-270k in its first week.
It has already earned praise from critics and his peers. “Wowwwww this album is a classic!!!!!!!!!” said Timbaland.
Tune in to “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Wednesday for a performance from Cole.
